RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SPEAKERS BUREAU AVAILABLE FOR SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
The Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo’s Speakers Bureau is currently available for speaking engagements throughout the eight counties of Western New York.
The Ronald McDonald House, located in downtown Buffalo, opened more than two decades ago. With its 15 bedrooms accommodating up to 50 family members, the House has provided lodging and support for more than 15,000 families. Some of these families have traveled from other states and countries, but the overwhelming number (65% of visitors) come from the eight Western New York counties and are indeed, our neighbors.
In 2004, 423 families from four countries, seven states, and 27 New York State Counties stayed at Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo. Ronald McDonald House is designed to be a home-away-from-home for families of sick or injured children.
A member of the Ronald McDonald House Speakers Bureau is available to present a video tour of “The House that Love Built.” A Speakers Bureau member will also:
- Discuss the Ronald McDonald House’s mission, organization structure and services provided;
- Inform listeners on how they may refer family or friends to the Ronald McDonald House for services; and
- Educate organizations on how they incorporate the House into a service opportunity.
The Ronald McDonald House Speakers Bureau is pleased to tailor presentations to your organization’s specific interests, and can accommodate large or small groups.
To arrange a free presentation, please contact Sally Vincent at (716) 883-1177.
