Community Grants

RMHC funds a Community Granting Program that supports not-for-profit organizations whose programs directly improve the health and well being of children in our WNY communities. Financial support for these grants comes from the local McDonald’s Restaurants and Owners/Operators of WNY and NWPA, McDonald’s Corporation (RMHC National) and our WNY community.

It’s important to note that while both the House and Community Grants Program are part of RMHC, each is a separate entity. Donations made to the Ronald McDonald House go exclusively to support the House. Donations to RMHC support both the House and the Community Grants Program. Grants are also supported by RMHC National which match most local grants.

Since granting began in 1992 RMHC has granted more then $390,000 in local funds and $310,000 in matching funds in support of the health and well being of thousands of WNY children.

We are grateful to McDonald’s and our community for the support and opportunity they give us to reach beyond the walls of the Ronald McDonald House in support of children throughout WNY.
